Ludus Dance
Ludus Dance is delighted to have received the videoing/editing equipment following the ‘Our Video’ project with the NCC. The video camera, laptop, microphones etc. will be stored at Ludus on King Street in Lancaster.

Ludus Dance currently works with over 15 community groups across Lancashire. The equipment will be made available to any of these community groups. The groups can book use of the equipment through their Ludus Artist. They can do this by talking directly to their Ludus representative or through the Ludus website.

Ludus also runs an ‘Associates of Ludus’ scheme in which members of the community, freelance teachers/artists, students etc. receive regular emails, updates and attend quarterly meetings. It is our aim that the equipment can be made available for use by the Ludus associates. There will be a newsletter sent to all associates informing them of this opportunity.

Ludus is also intending to broaden its work with dance film and therefore the equipment will be used for this purpose. This may also include taking the equipment into schools and colleges to discuss how to create a dance film.

We are keen for the equipment to be used on a regular basis by members of the Ludus team, the local community and the associates of Ludus.
